Style

The Alec is a chic, slim fitting jacket with a short modern cut body and tailored appearance. The sleeves are sleeker than our mainline range, with extra fabric around the upper area to allow for articulation. The twin vent enhances the silhouette neatly, with a two-button fastening polishing off the overall shape. Details include a notched lapel with buttonhole, contrasting melton, and 3 external patch pockets.

Fit

Alec is ideal for gents of an average height, as we only provide the Regular fit in this range at present. Due to the contemporary cut, we would suggest this style for those of a svelte figure.

Fabric & Care

Harris Tweed is handwoven from pure virgin wool, in crofts in the Outer Hebrides. The wool is taken from sheep with dense and springy wool, resulting in a resilient and robust heavy-weight tweed. Because it is handwoven, the weave is slightly looser than other tweeds, meaning the fabric has a natural movement to it.
