Tweed Tie
Style
Tweed ties are a timeless classic and for good reason, they give any ensemble a dash of old-world distinction and rustic charm. These ties are by no means limited to the countryside however, their rich texture and colour make them a wonderful and versatile addition to any wardrobe.
Made in the traditional manner, our ties are folded three times before being closed with a slipstitch. The use of a slipstitch allows the tie to stretch along its length, making for a more comfortable tie that responds to movement. The use of a slipstitch also allows wrinkles to fall out more easily when hung or rolled at the end of the day. To make for a stronger, longer lasting tie, each end of the long back seam is reinforced with a durable bar tack.

Herringbone
Herringbone, also called broken twill weave, describes a distinctive V-shaped weaving pattern. It is distinguished from a plain chevron by the break at reversal, which makes it resemble a broken zigzag. The pattern is called herringbone because it resembles the skeleton of a herring fish.
