Edgar Shetland Tweed Jacket
Basketweave, Black
The Edgar was inspired by writer Edgar Allan Poe and C. Auguste Dupin, his detective character. The traditional Norfolk style jacket was popular in his time, so we have translated it into a modern version for day to day wear. The action back, for movement, is matched with a half belt detail at the rear and bellows pockets - for storing your magnifying glass, compass and all other necessary things for a sleuth.
Halliday Shetland Tweed Trouser

Style
Halliday is a relaxed, wide leg trouser with single pleats. A more contemporary style, Halliday is the perfect accompaniment to a relaxed fitting jacket. Alternatively, pair with an oversized piece of knitwear or loose-fitting shirt for an easy going and comfortable look that still feels stylish and put together.
Fit
The Halliday trouser is a mid-rise with a wide, straight leg. This style fits true to size.
Halliday comes finished with plain hems. There is 4cm (1½") of hem allowance, allowing the trousers to be lengthened by up to 2cm (¾") if necessary.

Adjustable cuffs are a detail borrowed from American shirtmaking, allowing the wearer the option to loosen or tighten the cuff diameter to accommodate a large wristwatch. Harry is a generous fit through the body with slim sleeves. The sleeve and body length are longer than standard. We recommend ordering your usual size. Those who prefer a slim fit and do not wear a tie, may consider sizing down.

The use of a slipstitch allows the tie to stretch along its length, making for a more comfortable tie that responds to movement. The use of a slipstitch also allows wrinkles to fall out more easily when hung or rolled at the end of the day. To make for a stronger, longer lasting tie, each end of the long back seam is reinforced with a durable bar tack.
