A close partnership between Scottish Rugby, Harris Tweed Hebrides and Walker Slater has resulted in a stylish new design. The bespoke fabric incorporates the dark navy base of the national team’s playing jersey along with a subtle multi-windowpane pattern of rich blue, with purple and green to represent the colours of the thistle.
Style
The William waistcoat is a stalwart classic of the collection. With an elegant, notched lapel, 5-button front, and two welt pockets. The higher close echoes classic tailoring of the past and ensures your waistcoat is visible when worn with a jacket.
Fit
William is a regular fit waistcoat with a straight fit through the waist. We would advise taking your usual size. Those with a larger waist relative to their chest may wish to size up.

Harris Tweed
Harris Tweed is handwoven from pure virgin wool, in crofts in the Outer Hebrides. The wool is taken from sheep with dense and springy wool, resulting in a resilient and robust heavy-weight tweed. Because it is handwoven, the weave is slightly looser than other tweeds, meaning the fabric has a natural movement to it.

A large version of a graph check, where vertical and horizontal lines cross the cloth to create squares, reminiscent of a window with divided panes.
