The Cateryn is a mid-length coat, stopping roughly midway down the thigh (average height). It has a single vent, two external lower pockets, one breast pocket, and two internal pockets. The peaked lapel and pocket flap detail are covered in a complementing moleskin fabric.

Fabric
Shetland tweed is made using wool from Shetland sheep. These sheep have a naturally soft and fine wool, which is then spun to create a tight and thin tweed fabric with a slightly shaggy finish.

Herringbone
Herringbone, also called broken twill weave, describes a distinctive V-shaped weaving pattern. It is distinguished from a plain chevron by the break at reversal, which makes it resemble a broken zigzag. The pattern is called herringbone because it resembles the skeleton of a herring fish.
