Our Martin waistcoat is a modern take on our more traditional styles. Retaining the high closure and fitted shape of our classic waistcoats but streamlined with jetted hip pockets and no lapels.

Martin is a slim fit waistcoat with a lightly shaped waist. We would advise taking your usual size. Those with a larger waist relative to their chest may wish to size up.

I have chest size of 106 cm, and the UK 42 size waistcoat fits quite well. I am usually the same suit size with other brands, and the chart follows those pretty close, at least with respect to the chest. It could feel somewhat tight when sitting, so depending on one's physique and preference one size larger could work better for comfort, although I like it this way. There is plenty of adjustable waist room.

Don't listen to that 48" bloke, my 38" fits perfectly. I recommend going to try before you buy, great range to browse great cut and material and the staff are lovely too.

Sizing is off

My chest is 47". I own maybe 50 waistcoats from many different sources (including many Harris tweed ones) and always order size 48, which fits great. I ordered size 48" of this waistcoat and could hardly button it. I estimate that the actual chest size was at best 46", but probably less. So, nice waistcoat but please be aware that the sizing is not standard. You should order at least one size up, perhaps even two, to match what your tape measure says. Also, please be aware that, unless the item was "defective" (and presumably misleading sizing is not considered a defect), the buyer has to pay shipping costs to return the item.
