Style
Grant Callum is a cropped version of our Caban coat. A timeless peacoat inspired style, the shorter length gives the coat a more casual, sporty look. The looser fit makes Grant Callum and excellent candidate for winter layering, with room for a thick jumper underneath. Like a peacoat, Grant Callum has a double-breasted closure with 6x2 buttoning. Two additional buttons near the collar allow the coat to be fully closed, protecting the wearer from a sudden change in the weather.
Fit
Grant Callum is a regular fit through the shoulders with a loose, cropped body. We would suggest ordering your usual size. Those who prefer a slim fit could size down.

Melton Wool
Melton wool is a luxurious and high-quality fabric that is made from 100% wool fibre. It is a dense and tightly woven material that has a smooth surface and a soft, brushed texture. Melton wool is often used for outerwear, as it is known for its excellent insulation and wind resistance properties.
The fabric is created through a process of carding, combing, and spinning wool fibres into yarn. The yarn is then woven into a twill or plain weave, which is then subjected to a process of fulling. Fulling involves soaking the fabric in water, then subjecting it to heat and agitation, which causes the fibres to interlock and shrink, resulting in a dense and compact fabric.
