Melton Wool
Melton wool is a luxurious and high-quality fabric that is made from 100% wool fibre. It is a dense and tightly woven material that has a smooth surface and a soft, brushed texture. Melton wool is often used for outerwear, as it is known for its excellent insulation and wind resistance properties.
The fabric is created through a process of carding, combing, and spinning wool fibres into yarn. The yarn is then woven into a twill or plain weave, which is then subjected to a process of fulling.
