Style
Our Francis double breasted waistcoat is a wonderful piece for those that wish to stand out. It has a naturally lower v-line when fastened, providing a satisfying focal point under a jacket or as a stand alone piece. It features two jet pockets on either side, small side vents and and silky back with adjuster.
Fabric
A sharp troutbone pattern in warm tan brown with cool greys and blues woven throughout.
The history of the Pendle tweed goes back to 16th century Lancashire and two families - the Whittles and the Devices - who were known collectively as 'the Pendle Witches'. They delved into the carding and spinning of wool, alongside poaching, stealing and supernatural tasks to get by. We affectionately know this fabric as the 'witchy tweed'.
