Linen

Lightweight, breathable, and richly textured, linen is the quintessential summer fabric. Woven in a simple plain weave, the fabric remains breathable and cool to wear thanks to the linen fibre's inherent absorbency and ability to conduct heat. Natural variations in thickness along the linen fibre give the resulting cloth a deeply textured and slightly slubby look reminiscent of woolen spun tweed. It is this distinctly naturalistic feeling and relaxed character that draws us to feature linen in the collection.

Herringbone

Herringbone, also called broken twill weave, describes a distinctive V-shaped weaving pattern. It is distinguished from a plain chevron by the break at reversal, which makes it resemble a broken zigzag. The pattern is called herringbone because it resembles the skeleton of a herring fish.

Stripes

Stripes are a timeless pattern cherished for generations and have maintained their allure and elegance throughout the centuries. This iconic pattern is meticulously crafted by skilfully weaving slender, evenly spaced lines of contrasting colours into the cloth, resulting in a refined and sophisticated motif.

Prince of Wales Check

The Prince of Wales check is a complex pattern, made up of 3 sections. The first is a micro-houndstooth, a broken check that creates abstract geometric shapes. The next are the sections that come from all four sides of the micro-houndstooth tile. From afar, these resemble stripes, and up close are made up of more abstract geometric shapes. The last section is a micro-check, distinct from the first two sections.
