Edmond Jacket

This is the second suit from WS I acquired and I'm just as impressed with the quality for this price point as the first time with my tweed Edward suit.
The cut, as always with the Edward/Edmond models is roomy in the chest and narrow (but comfortable) in the waist, with a lightly flared skirt, great for slim to athletic builds, but maybe a pass for those who like to indulge in good foods often ...
The gorge is positionned fashionably high, which makes for long and full lapels, without being too wide, so I can imagine this style would age very well in the long run.
The colour is pretty much the same as what you can see in the pictures, and the fabric is very light and breezy (but the jacket still feels "constructed" rather than loose like some other linen ones)
My only gripe, if I was nitpicking, is that this model doesn't have, unlike the Edward, a small ticket pocket at the bottom of the facing for my keys, other than that it's a fantastic suit, and the quality of the make rivals other suit brands that can cost 2 to 3 times the price!
Very few alterations needed for a perfect fit, but the fact that it's mostly unlined makes any alteration very easy and fast to do.
The trousers are also very neatly made, with a very generous amount of extra fabric when ordering it unfinished, I can't speak to the finishing when choosing a custom hem directly from the website but if it's consistent with the rest of the suit, it's probably very adequate.
I can't recommend this brand enough for people on the fence, it's one of the best ready to wear offerings out there!
