Conrad Coat
Style
Conrad draws inspiration from the "greatcoats" of the First World War. A winter weight predecessor to the iconic trench coat, the greatcoat was designed to keep soldiers warm during blustery winters on the front lines. The large collar and below the knee length keep the wearer sheltered from the wind and rain, while the deep buttoned vent at the back provides mobility. The Adjustable half belt at the back allows the coat to cinched in for more shape or let out, making room for additional layers.
Fit
Conrad is a looser fit, with extended shoulders and an A-line shape. The rear half belt allows the waist to be cinched in when a slimmer silhouette is desired. We would advise taking your regular size for a classic look or one size down for a slimmer look. The coat is approximately mid-calf on a man of average height.

Harris Tweed
Harris Tweed is handwoven from pure virgin wool, in crofts in the Outer Hebrides. The wool is taken from sheep with dense and springy wool, resulting in a resilient and robust heavy-weight tweed. Because it is handwoven, the weave is slightly looser than other tweeds, meaning the fabric has a natural movement to it.
