Charlotte Trouser
Style
Our Charlotte trousers are a silhouette enhancing, balloon-style trouser. Drawing influence from vintage British military uniforms and equestrian clothing, they have a high waist with a deep waistband and wide, buttoning belt loops. Double pleats at the hips give the trousers a 'pleated to pegged' look as the leg tapers in. This style accentuates curves, giving the wearer a chic landgirl-esque look when paired with a plain knit or cardigan.

A high-waisted style with extra fullness over the hips and a narrow leg opening.

Fabric
Our lambswool tweed is created using wool taken from the first shearing of young sheep. This means that the wool is soft, fine, and light. These fibres are then spun to create a fabric with a compact and smooth handle that is soft to the touch, but that still has a distinct texture.

Donegal
A Donegal pattern is defined by speckled dots in the fabric, called “neps” or “slubs” produced by dispersing yarns in a variety of colours throughout the cloth. Named for County Donegal in Ireland, where this style originated, the pattern is now recognisable the world over.
