Tweed Scotties for the Grassmarket Community Project

"Grassmarket Community Project reaches out to disadvantaged and vulnerable people by providing a nurturing safe place where they can attend workshops, meet others and increase their confidence. In 2011, a member of the sewing group designed Greyfriars Tartan and following its success in 2014 we established Grassmarket Tartans. Our in-house tailor equips members with the skills required to create a range of beautiful handmade products in a range of fabrics. All profits from the sales of which go to the charity."

Our scotty dog army and 'bunch' of rose brooches were hand-made from off cuts of WS tweeds by the Grassmarket Community Project team. Each dog comes with a colourful ribbon collar.

They are for sale in our ladies and men's shops in Edinburgh, and our Covent Garden branch, at £18 each.
