Style
August draws inspiration from the classic French chore jacket, a robust and utilitarian garment worn by labourers at the turn of the century. The lightweight cotton twill fabric has a smooth, soft feel and comes in a washed shade of blue that is fantastically versatile. The large patch pockets are tremendously practical and twin-needle stitching gives the garment a workwear feel and ensures it’s longevity by reinforcing key seams around the garment. The jacket-style facings internally give a tailored feel to the garment and echo our signature tweed tailoring.
Wear as a separate for a do-it-all casual jacket or with the matching waistcoat and trousers for a vintage workwear look.
Fit
August is a regular fit with slim sleeves. We would advise taking your regular size. For those who would like to layer over bulky knitwear, one size larger is advised.

For small marks, we advise the use of a damp cloth and a small amount of clean water. A clothing brush or lint roller will remove dust or pet hair.
