Ali is a high waisted short with a double pleat to provide a loose fit around the hips and a turn up hem finish—it doesn't do anything practical, it just looks lovely! Belt loops allow an extra cinch at the waist, especially if worn as a stand alone piece with a fitted blouse, for that vintage vibe. Ali partners with the Anna jacket for a smart summery suit.
Fabric & Fit
A richly textured fabric combining a rustic woven pattern of navy and natural white with larger flecks, dispersed at random, which prove an eye catching feature. This fabric has a nep; it is not typically smooth, but covered in small 'pulls' in the weave giving it a lovely texture.

The Ali is a fraction larger than true-to-size but we would recommend getting your normal size and tailoring to your waist to retain the movement and loose fit of the leg.
